BSEImpact is a program to inspire Indian students to explore entrepreneurship as a career path, to delve into the dynamic startup ecosystem and create sustainable & profitable businesses.
BSEImpact is a hackathon which will take students across a series of tasks involving Problem analysis, Coming up with the right solution, Devising a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and then finally delivering a Powerful and Impactful Pitch.

The Format

Pre Hackathon

Intensive Capability Building Program aimed at giving innovators a fresh perspective towards venture building, impact creating and scaling up.

Inviting applications of student groups (4-5 members).

Selecting top 10 groups.

Deadline for applications is July 30, 2019.

Phase I

Intensive Capability Building Program aimed at giving innovators a fresh perspective towards venture building, impact creating and scaling up.

Reporting to venue for all selected student groups.

Basics of the hackathon are explained which includes the itinerary, rules and how they will be scored throughout the event.

Issuing problem statements to groups and stipulating the conditions under which the problems need to be solved.
Entrepreneur mentors are assigned to every group.

Groups figure out the ideal solution for the given problem statement.

Phase II

Intensive Capability Building Program aimed at giving innovators a fresh perspective towards venture building, impact creating and scaling up.

Groups get provided flash training sessions on lean canvas, value proposition, go to market strategy and pitch deck. Mentors will help groups to develop their business plan and place it in the pitch deck format provided. This will be accompanied by dynamic challenges to which the groups have to match their solution and strategy with.

This time will be given to groups to add finishing touches to their pitch decks and confer with their mentors.

Pitch Sessions (3 minutes per group)

Post-Hackathon

Intensive Capability Building Program aimed at giving innovators a fresh perspective towards venture building, impact creating and scaling up.

The hackathon will culminate into awards and incubation support provided through associated partners. As a part of post hackathon engagement, a weekend session on design thinking, product prototyping and go to market strategy can be conducted to provide deeper insights into these aspects
